There used to be a website where I could get DS Download Station stuff, but I forgot about it, so I was wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction [IMG]
It's legal, I think, since they're essentially free stuff [IMG]

I'm pretty sure they're not legal. It's still copyright Nintendo.

Not sure they are legal; free to use, but not free to own or distrubute.

Not debating it at all but I find it kind of ironic that gbadev allow sharing of them and they go so far as to frown on mass compatibility lists for emulators.

Just because its free doesn't mean that copyright doesn't apply.
I have seen versions that have the individual ROMs as separate files, have a look for them.

Actually, Demos ripped out of the ROMs are illegal, demos reconstructed from sniffing raw packets out of the air are legal.

Just because it flies through the air doesn't make it not someone's intellectual property.

OP, we can't tell you where to get your illegal files, sorry.

but it's not against the rules to say a key phrase is "a new batch of DS demos that are free to download", is it? it's not a link or anything, not even specifically telling you how to get to the site. but if you are "feeling lucky", you should be able to find it.
