Eh, your best bet is going third party on this. This adapter works very well,
Official ones are rare. They don't make them anymore. They are going to be too expensive.
My experience is that there's no benefit to having the official ones anyway.
I bought a third party one for 1/2 the price and it works perfectly on my Wii U.
Plus, I think it's actually a little bit smaller... though I could be wrong.
Really hm.. I just bought an official adapter from japan.. for 35 -_- Maybe I should cancel it before it ships?
Amazon or eBay should have them but you'll be paying a good chunk of money for it.
I bought a third party USB-LAN adapter for my Wii U and it works perfectly plus I paid a small amount for it so it all worked out.
I just heard that the official one runs better than third party that's why I ordered it, but if that's not the case I'll cancel my order.
If you feel like paying $35 for something that should cost under $10, that's up to you.
yeah I'm probably going to cancel it.. but which third party lan adapters works the best then? The one that trumpet-205 mentioned?
That's sorta hard to tell because they're brandless and white/black so they're probably all the same from the same factory (China or Hong Kong).
I think I'm going to get the pluggable one instead.
Play-Asia has them on sale & in stock: http://www.play-asia.com/wii-lan-adapter-paOS-13-49-en-70-1mwk.html
