    Hey,

My younger sister (8), lost her R4DS.... It was the original one...

Now she needs a new one, but we're living in The Netherlands (NL), so we want to buy one in our country...

Does anybody know a good webshop with "Thuiswinkel waarborg" in NL?

She doesnt play the newer games that are AP'ed etc. So she only needs the original R4DS with 2GB Micro SD...

    Thanks for helping!!

PS: Our preference is that the R4DS is in stock, Thank you!

Buy a good flashcart, though. The R4 sucks.

I forgot to add to my starting post:

The R4DS is prefered to be in stock.

De R4DS is op voorkeur op voorraad.

@Berthenk: Ze speelt niet veel spellen, meerendeel oudere spellen zoals My Baby Boy enz. Dus een R4DS is goed genoeg voor haar.
Haar verloren flashcard was ook een R4DS [IMG]

    EDIT: @Berthenk's post:

    I can buy the R4DS for €9,49
    But the R4DS + 2GB SanDisk = €19.49

Isnt €10,- extra a bit too much for a SanDisk 2GB MicroSD card??

Flashcards cannot be sold any more in The Netherlands. Nintendo won their lawsuit against 11 shops selling flashcards and with that they can close down all other businesses too (and they did). So maybe only underground sites may still sell them but not any site out in the open. You can still buy them outside The Netherlands so its only a nuisance and perhaps a little more risk if you pick the wrong shop.

For more information in Dutch: Rechter verbiedt verkoop R4-flashkaartjes en omgebouwde Wii's

Small message about this in English: Nintendo Wins R4 Lawsuit in the Netherlands

@henkbentink I think by mentioning the "Console-specialist" here Nintendo will know about them too so I guess they will not be selling flashcards much longer.

    That's "R4 Upgrade", which is a clone.

ANYTHING EXCEPT "R4" IS A CLONE.

    R4i, R4-SDHC, R4 Gold, R4 King, R4-FUCKING-RAINBOWS...

Anything except "R4 Revolution" is a clone.

I'd get her an AceKard2i. She can use it on a DSi or DSiXL and still play games!

    Also, AKAIO is good. [IMG]

It's also cheap, about 13 bucks. [IMG]

    So, R4 III isnt a clone? (R4 Revolution 3)

And, is this free Hong Kong shipping to The Netherlands on Shoptemp a good option? Cuz I dont really trust that, and it takes 2-5 weeks! @.@
But I dont want to pay like $18.50 for DHL delivery, that makes the cheap outdated card, much expensive :/

    Any other suggestions?

Maybe a good site for original R4 cards in Germany?
Not Belgium, cuz flashcarts were forbidden a long time ago there...

    R4 III is a clone.
Trust me, that Original R4DS on Shoptemp is the one you want, it supports Wood R4.
Shoptemp's free delivery is actually really good, I did a free shipping survey and most people, myself included, only waited between 1-2 weeks!

Just buy from Shoptemp, the $6 R4 with a $7 2gig card, free shipping, and you'll be set. [IMG]

By the way, even though she doesn't play any newer games, an R4DS with Wood R4 1.13 installed will play 99.9% of games, even new ones like pokémon black and white.

    Shoptemp is a good option.
There are more than a few people here who have ordered from them.

They say 2-5 weeks like most online places especially the ones that ship from China.
I ordered my AK2i from GameKool (who is in China). They said China -> US would be 2~4 weeks, I got it in 8 days.
The timeframe is in case customs stops the package for some reason, but it's usually waved through as they tend to mark the item as "PC Component/Memory Card Reader".

Here is the ShopTemp link: http://shoptemp.com/products/R4-DS-Revolut...-Lite-p-29.html

Also, I second RupeeClock's suggestion to use WoodR4 instead of the original R4 system files.
You get MUCH better compatibility (even current games work) AND the games load faster AND it looks better.
