ROM Hack Where Streetpass is stored (Street Smash)?

Hello,

I wanna back up Streetpass's data from some games like Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3ds or Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance. As I read in this forums, Exdata usually contains Streetpass's data but I deleted the Smash Bros's Extdata, played the game and I watched some users I met before are still in Street Smash... So I deduce Streetpass's data of Super Smash Bros are not stored in the extdata.

Where is Streetpass's data of Super Smash Bros really located? And, how can I back up/restore these data?

I believe that only unread street pass data is stored that way, once it's read it should be part of the save data file. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.
