Hacking Where should I buy R4 Flashcart?

Are both reputable?

ndscard is your best bet from china. they're honest and have a good rep, but china post can take 2-3 weeks this time of year.
modchipsdirect is a good reseller based in the US so you get stuff quick (< week). You'll have to pay about 8 bucks more though.

I'm just curious, why did you decide against a free softmod like Frogminer?
About 600 people do this a day so you could too.

I can vouch for nds-card, bought from them a couple of times and had no issues. I suggest the R4i Gold 3DS Plus, it's the best one.

Honestly I don’t know WHAT I need. I mean, I’m working on learning the CFW stuff.

My kids (3) got DS’s for Christmas. None of us have ever owned one. The boys (8 & 9yrs) have Pokémon Ultra Moon and Y, The Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart 7. My daughter (18yrs) has Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart. I just ordered a DS and I have nothing.

I don’t know much if anything about the games. DS vs 3DS or their availablilty. I don’t even know of a DS game that I want to play.

I just assumed that whatever I find in terms of games online it would probably be a combination of the two.

Would I be fine with 3DS games only? (Probably hard to answer and more personal to the individual)

Am I overthinking this??

I have this whole other thread going on how to get started. I just thought this was going to be an easier question so I asked it separately to get more responses/recommendation on WHERE to buy.

I did not read all that but yea get the 64GB cards for 3ds slot and 32GB cards for flashcart slot

probably my fault although i and others have suggested frogminer i was still talking up ntrboot (as a potential unbricking utility/tool) due to the op having 4 3ds consoles (3 of which operated primarily by children)

that fredminer you suggested for lakersfan was really simple (i walked her through it) and went without a hitch it was the simplest cfw install walk-through i have ever done

Hey, man. I was helping someone out with a problem related to this.

• Weird R4 card problem

His 64 GB card didn't work on his Ace 3DS+, and a quick glance about that flashcart's product page said it supports SDHC or up to 32 GB. That would imply anything bigger doesn't work.

How did you manage to get your 64 GB card working on your Ace 3DS Plus? Does it recognizes the entire (actual) ~60 GB capacity?

Ok. I ordered one of these http://www.modchipsdirect.com/r4i-gold-3ds-plus.html today. Total was $25.48 with shipping. I wasn’t into waiting 2-3 weeks from China. Hopefully it will be good. I read a couple other posts saying they are legit.
