All around the world people are killing each other for pleasure.
Just saying.

How is this related?

I kill ants and mosquitoes for pleasure. I'd probably eat a dog. Moral relativism is a slippery slope.

I kill ants and mosquitoes because they are a nuisance. I don't get any particular pleasure out of it. I don't have any objections to eating dogs but I don't think the people in the video (haven't watched it) ate the dog afterwards so it's not really relevant.

I'd argue seeing everything in black and white is far more dangerous than 'moral relativism'.

And I'd probably FUCKING END YOU.
And this is the exact inexplicable pedestal I cannot come to terms with. Human Life = Dog life, MAYBE. Human Life < Dog life, you're literally out of your damn mind. Your cat would eat you if it was hurting for food, don't pretend that because we smelted metal and synthesized software we somehow have morality that supersedes nature. We ARE nature.

In what world are dogs not a nuisance? We made wolves perform incest until they were genetically malformed and relied on us 100%, I don't see how carrying on this blood line does anybody any good. It's like if we selectively produced down syndrome kids and started putting them in crates and condescending to them openly- it's untoward.

In China they eat dogs and I don't like them to begin with.

Of course this all stems from the colonialist ideal of- I am better than the godless oriental, I could never sink so low as to do what they find commonplace.

All this hate for the sake of a dog? Curious. The act serves no great purpose but I can not get close to repulsed or angry like others seem to have, and even find it odd that people would.

Equally aside from some pedigree lines i would say dogs are particularly inbred. Heavily heavily selectively bred, and many with attributes that would make survival in the wild tricky, but not inbred. There are some that survive wild but most wild dogs live off human excess (granted they reckon there might be more urban foxes these days so who knows) -- the feral dogs of Moscow being a great example http://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/moscows-metro-dogs .

On eating dogs it would fall under kill it, cook it and I will give it a nibble. However there is no great appeal -- carnivores are not great things to eat generally. That said if enough people eat it elsewhere in the world for it to be a thing then I probably should give it a go if I can make sure I have a good one.

I hate it not because he kill the dog but because he think it funny to do so, he even record it and show it on internet like he really proud of it.

But I don't think it have anything to do with humanity here, this is just some bastard with some mentally issues, the fact people hate those guy prove that humanity wasn't so bad after all.

Doing that doesnt makes us better, It makes us as bad as them
I half agree with what you said. It can make us as bad as the person who is causing these horrible acts but at the same time it makes sure no one else or any living thing can be harmed even further.

I dont understand batman's philosophy in not killing. By not killing the villians, they allow them the chance to escape and cause even more death on innocent lives.

If a murderer kills someone, they must have a reason. The murderer will always think they are right, whether that is because of a mental illness or they think they are bringing about justice.
We would then hypothetically kill this person, for our own justice. But then aren't we basically doing the same thing he did? It gets a bit mesy after that.
And what if this person had mental problems? Sure we could kill em, but there's also the option of potentially calming them, and putting them through some kind of rehab or something so they are "sane". Oh look, another human life saved.

(I'm not too good at expressing my opinion through text words lol, so sorry if any of this makes no sense, but the basic point still stands)

I understand the whole concept, but its meaningless for those that show no remorse for their actions or are repeat offenders with no signs of change.

Its not impossible but people rarely do change and its not fair others have to suffer so one person can have the chance to be "cured"

Then at the very least put them in prison where they can't harm anyone else.

Easier said than done. The prison system is overcrowded and underfunded, also people tend to hold grudges against humanity despite their actions being of their own fault.

I'll try to pull some sources later when its not 3am.

Might be different because i'm in UK, but it seems like that's where we need to put our funds lol

That's what the attempted rehab is supposed to be for, to uhh "show them the light"? :P

Well, the way I see it, if you knowingly and willingly revoke another human being of their life for personal interest, you don't deserve to see tomorrow.
The killer believes that if you [insert random thing to piss them off] you don't deserve to see tomorrow. This is their "justice".
Our "justice" is to kill the killer. But isn't that making us as bad as them?
