Hey guys,

I am just wondering, i have uploaded about 26 files to filetrip but i have run out of files to add.
My question is - Where do people like another world and stuff who have uploaded like 800 get all there homebrew from. Is there a big homebrew database, that i dont know about???.

Thanks.

I dunno about where you live but around here there's plenty of homeless people that find ways to make homebrew, and I usually just steal it from them when they're busy begging people for money.

Another_World is magstaff and in acting as such you end up seeing (and so mirroring) a lot of homebrew when you post news of it not to mention he added most of the GBA homebrew that is still out there not so long ago.

If you mean where does that get sourced from then the answer is various places- many people can/do author homebrew and while some keep it to themselves some want to share it with others. Good places to look at development sites (and ultimately developers sites/blogs) of various flavours and languages and other homebrew sites (while many developers will post on the various forums not all will and it is impossible to keep up with every site out there). There is a good list of sources somewhere but you can have my ancient list that I found on a quick search:

You also have things like flash cart updates- if such updates come once a week or more (as they have done in the past) then things start to add up.

Alongside this things have slowed down considerably compared to how it was a couple of years back (there were points where there were upwards of five good pieces of homebrew being released every day for weeks on end)

He just wants to upload software to Filetrip and get free stuff.
You Tempers shouldn't have told him where you could find homebrew to upload.
Anyways most of the software is updated from the developers website or page.
try googling "nds homebrew download", maybe...

He doesn't want free stuff, he has set up his own site about homebrew and Is building up a database of homebrew. He has a small selection but want to put it on his website so its all in the same place. You may have taken his question in the wrong sense, it is not that he want to upload to filetrip but more to his own database

Thought I might just point that out so you don't get the wrong idea about this guy, he's a really nice guy when you get to know him
