The purpose of this poll is to help people (like me :|) that already brought the mod-chip but still need to find Wii without cut legs. So if you've brought a Wii from may or starting this June and they have cut legs please vote and help the community.
Hopefully, some stores like Target still have a good stock of the old Wii's being kept for mass distribution.

Here's a thread from Fatwallet regarding Wii availability:
    http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messagevie...455&start=10420

The general serial# for cut Wii's are LU5154xxx...

The statistic is rough so far, but from what it seems like of the 100+ people that have read and voted in this thread, 3/4 of them got their cut Wii's from Walmart. Always low cut prices, always low cut Wii's [IMG]

The best place to go is a store that isn't popular. So that means stay away from walmart and places like that. This way you've more of a chance of picking up an older wii.

i would say that your best chance would be to buy one used on ebay or something and find out what the serial number is before you buy it.

A week after the news about cut legs came out I was lucky enough to snag an old one from walmart in my area. A rare occurance indeed.

Actually I think there was just rumors actually at that time saying something like nintendo was about to change the manufacturing process making it much more difficult to solder too. I don't think the cut legs was what was expected but at any rate...

Specificly I purchased my Wii on 5/17... yep just in time because I am reading of someone who bought theirs on 5/24 with the cut legs. [IMG]

Just ordered a pre-modded wii from a reputable australian supplier. They supply modded wii's "on demand". When buying the batch for this week a significant number had cut pins resulting in a delay for me until they can sort out a refund and find new wii stocks. Makes me want to [IMG]

Well it appears the majority of willing voters have casted, and we may all come to the conclusion that Walmart and Bestbuy sell the most Wii's in general, hence have more of the newer cut Wii's.

Anybody here get a new D2C chip yet?
