where did Mighty the Armadillo go?

few of us know Mighty the Armadillo . he just apeared in 2 games as a playable character!
1.SegaSonic the Hedgehog
2.Knuckles' Chaotix
"he did also apear in gale racer"
i donno why sega didnt let him to apear in any new game "i know that ray has only apeared in one game but he isnt good as mighty"
