Firstly, I'd like to know where I might be able to find a DSi / DSi XL that has Sudokuhax fully installed.

Besides this, is there any conceivable way to get around this for systems with newer firmware [1.4.2+]?

have you checked the stats? http://bootmii.org/dsiexploits/inject/dl_stats.php

there were only 691 dsi-ware injections, of which 467 were for sudoku. there were 28.41 million dsi units shipped, although that number doesn't represent sales, or more importantly, sales before the exploited games were removed from the dsi-ware shop and the firmware was updated to 1.4.2. but the point i'm making is that of all the dsi systems out there you need to track down 1 of 691. with that said, you do not have enough posts to enter our trading forum and asking for such a trade/purchase from another member of our community would violate our rules. rules which are in place for good reason.

1.4.2 blocked the transferring of dsi-ware exploits from SD to NAND. there is no way to transfer the file to your PC, inject the hack, and then place it back in NAND on 1.4.2+. perhaps a CFW would fix this but i fear that all attempts to hack the dsi were left behind a long time ago.

The door is probably shut on Sudokuhax; but DSi homebrew - not so sure.

Every 3ds has a DSi emulator. Who knows what unexpected benefits may come with 3ds homebrew.
