HELP!

I'm on the 7th boss (giant rock golem) and I don't know what to do.

The guides say to catapult up and attack his red spheres.

I catapult up but I can't get Link to swing his freaking sword while in the air.

What do I do?

You don't swing the sword, you have to hold down L and swing the hammer. You can only hit the buttons closest to you, that boss I found a bit annoying.

I just finished it, last boss was fantastic

Anyone know how to talk to the mermaid? I've got the letter to give her, I've defeated all the enemies on the island, and now I can see her popping up in the water but when I approach, she runs off.

I wont go and finish the last dungeon and beat the last boss until i get all the gems (3 to go) and get all thoose ship parts (i keep going to the ds calendar and change the date so the bettle shop gets diferent part to sell). I think this game is pretty good but short so im going to get all of the side quest done. thankfully this game is not as short as minish cap which i beat 100% in 6 hours and didnt lost a single life...

I'm just curious with the temple on the main first island, what sort of time is it taking people to get to the 6th floor (or whichever one opens the yellow portal)
i havent tried to go quicker but my best so far is 1:38.

no one cares how many games you have beat. but i almost got stuck for a moment when i had to shut the ds for the two maps. i was sitting there thinking maps together bottom top then i got up and thought about getting a drink and shutting my ds.... AH-HA!

I thought that was an amazing use of the DS, it's shows the true thought being put into the game.

I was stuck on the part where you get third map and you have to do something with the crest of courage. I think the game took pity on me and solved itself since I couldn't figure out what to do.

Did you shut the DS and give up, (a little like Theorgan)? Then come back to it later? (Shutting the lid to stamp the map is what you have to do.

Blowing on the candles is where I got a little puzzled, strange you have to actually blow on the DS.

Weee just beat the game. Last boss kinda caught me off guard but it was sweet.

I think I'll try to go for all Spirit Gems and Hearts, but I doubt I'll finish it
