Ok Nintendo had this thing in the past where they would reissue a game under the "Player's Choice" label and all they were, were budget versions of previous games sold for £19.99. The 360 has its own similar range now and so does the PS3, so where is the Wii one?

Now you can't say that this is because of "high sales" because the likes of Excite Truck, Zelda, Wario Ware, Super Paper Mario or Metroid Prime 3 are hardly selling well right now. Even if they were the GC best selling games went PC after a year or so even though the likes of SSBM still sold well.

Oh well, I guess they have their "reasons" but it would be nice if there were better budget titles than these tacky DDI titles.

Nintendo haven't launched a 'classic' range yet, as the console is only 18 months old in Japan ...

You will probably see the first 'classic' titles in about 6 months time ...

Nintendo tend to do things more slowly than other companies ...

Nintendo tends to do this when sales have all but died off

Case in point, the players choice titles for the GBA didn't come out until far after the GBA was "dead"

Also no DS Players Choice games yet

I could really go for a 20 buck Super Paper Mario or Metroid Prime 3.

Feels as if I'm missing a part of history!

Thats a good question, but I think that until very recently, their main concern and goal was to get out enough Wii's.

I still have only seen the Wii in the store 2 times so I dont know how well they're doing with meeting the high demand. Every few weeks they make the news it seems.

It will be nice when they release some "budget" games, though I always felt that 30 bucks was an awful lot for a GBA game. I think 25 would've been a better "high point" for them to sell at.

Nintendo aren't going to drop prices if they can keep selling games at current prices, be it high as they are. See: Australia.
