Only joking. The sun was formed around 4.5 billion years ago and scientists estimate that it is about halfway through it's life cycle. Don't worry - we'll be dead and gone long before it happens.

It kinda depends on what you call "out of energy" I guess though.

It won't really "run out of power" . When it dies it will most likely implode and create a supernova, tough that will be billions of years after we've died.
