I know that smealum has a life and is busy, but, I tried messaging him on twitter many times, but I get no answer.
I don't want to rush you smealum, take your time.
Is there still firmwares & models that needs testing..?

It will never be out. Smea was killed in a car accident a few days ago. He was transfering some of his hard drives, so the unfinished code was destroyed.

Don't update until it's confirmed that it's safe.

lol, I'm wondering about Ninjahax 2.0 for 9.7+ as i would like to use HB to somehow run homebrew and downgrade my old 3ds from 9.7 to 4.5,
to run pasta, rxtools and that that good CFW's that are leaking around

plus having cn is good for HB anyways

i suppose smea is making ninjahax 2.0 as we speak, or working on it, ones of these posts will show up in flahscarts/custom frimwares with "ninjahax 2.0 released by smea for old 3ds 9.7+ systems!

as everyone around here says "Soon"

also any news from gw on their new update? like support for 9.3+ sysnand?

Don't get your hopes up for pasta/cfw/even downgrading, as its already been stated that it will be limited as to what you can do. How limited remains to be seen.
