It's a big deal for those who skipped the base game waiting for the physical release. The base game was digital only.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Octopath Traveler. I've got pretty much nothing negative to say about it ~8 hours in, I'm sure fans of 3DS RPGs and RPGs in general will love it.

If I not take into account some decent indies I'm pretty disappointed in a current state of Switch's releases. I own PC, Wii U, Wii, N64, PS3 & 3DS plus emulators for older consoles so I've played to death most of past years' hits and don't want to buy or even pirate them again. This trend to reissue, remaster, remake is upsetting, and those "double-dippers" who support that make things worse as more & more devs follow a way of milking instead of investing into something new & creative. My next big titles for Switch are Starlink & Smash, that's it if not count Xeno 2 story DLC. Not bad for my wallet but neither good to entertain me till the next year, I think it's time to buy PS4 Pro to fill a gap.

They could always release a Metroid Prime Trilogy HD remaster, to hold us over until we get Metroid Prime 4: Renegade. Just like they did with the Bayonetta games and Zelda Twilight Princess HD. (Bayonetta was released too early though in my opinion) And what happened to the 3rd No More Heroes game? Didn't hear jack shiot about it at E3. I hope it's not stuck in development hell...

thats what im talking about i dont want remasters , i mean i woudnt bother for them to come out , what i really want are nes games like Zelda breath of the wild , a MArio galaxy 3 , a Mario Kart 9 with all new track and no just an bonus added of thre different cars and deluxe version with been able to have four items .

in a few months you will get

srs the console is literaly 1 year and 4 months and you already got this much exclusive games with more planned like yoshi and metroid prime 4,fire emblem three houses,...

what are you complaining about? 16 months you got lots of exclusive games excluding the wiiu deluxe ports...

I doubt it's that subjective. He's just asking people to list good games, no matter people's tastes. Under all categories of taste, what are the best games. For example, all the games that could get a review score of over 7. Then from that list OP can pick out what he'd be interested in.

we cant know if the game will be good until its released so its all subjective and seeing the trailers.

for me smash and pokemon are the next big thing even tough i have no idea if they are gonna be great or not lol.

True, but there's a range here. 7-10/10. Judging from trailers one could say approximately if it will be at least decent. The very best ofc we all can't say and yeah that's very subjective, I hope that's not what the OP meant for his sake...

Look at all of the recent AAA games recently, they're all mediocre, but gave great impressions in trailers. But one can know from those trailers where the minimum lies, and all those AAA games definitely pass the point of being slightly enjoyable.

I think that's exaggerating it. To call them bad is to exaggerate. They're good, but they can be bad if you had high expectations for it. These days people get so spoiled by good games and now you can call a good average game bad. Long time ago any game that was possible to enjoy was good in anyone's books. I'll stop now, I can't argue as even this could be considered subjective.
