When did you start getting into homebrewing/jailbreaking?

Xbox with the MadCatz USB and Splinter Cell. Eventually I bricked it doing what I wasn't supposed to, eh, teen years.

When PSP Slim launched I bought one and asked my buddies to help me CFW it. I remember it involved switching battery and etc.
