Hardware When did the Nintendo Online Store stopped selling the high capacity battery for the Wii U Gamepad?

I just noticed on the Nintendo Online Store that the high capacity battery for the Wii U gamepad is no longer being sold. Was it sometime this year?

Pretty sure for the US it was last year. Something like middle of last year, I think.

It's been a while. I'm pretty bummed as it was discontinued by the time I even discovered its existence.

Selling it would be admitting that the Wii U existed.

I'm more bummed out that getting replacement gamepad's themselves is tough as nails. I wanted to get an extra one (or two) for future-proofing my Wii U for a long long time.
