As some of you may have seen, I recently posted a topic regarding buying a Kingston 8gb MicroSD. I want to hear what everyone thinks of Kingston. Are their products reliable?

I've personally had two bad occasions with Kingston, where both my 1GB Taiwan microSD cards failed after about 4-5 months of moderate use. I think it was a bad batch.

Shipping for RMA would of costed me more than buying a brand new card.

I ended up with Patriot, and I haven't looked back.

I now own a few Patriot 1GB and 2GB microSD cards and a 8GB SDHC Class 6.

Out of about 15 uSD cards (Kingston, Sandisk, A-Data, PQI, Filemate, Transcend, and Patriot brands), I have only had two bad cards, both Kingston (MiJ 1GB and 2GB). The 2GB lasted about a year, the 1GB was good for about 3 months.

I've bought and used many Japanese Kingston 1gb and 2gb microsd cards and have not had a single problem with any of them. I have also bought a Taiwanese card for a friend and he hasn't a single problem with any of the games he plays on his DS.

I also use kingston ram in both of my home PC's
