Actually i think it's gonna be the other way around, both TX and Open Source Developers already seem to have a way around the new hardware revision and they are just waiting to make it public. As soon as it's released Nintendo is gonna release an update to patch out the exploit. Since TX is making Money off of it, they are probably going to release it first and then there's no point in keeping it private anymore so the Opensource developers are going to release it shortly afterwards.

At least thats what i think

2 - upgrade and play from disk (cartridge)
3 - upgrade and wait for crack
4 - let it lie around till upgrade comes.

Well if you bought it only for running cfw on it, it's probably the best to return it and try to find an older hardware Revision. There's a list in the forum where u can identify the hw revision based on the serial number.
If you buy it in a store i think u can see the serial number beforehand.

I bought it from Amazon. They can take it back but I obviously cannot find older revision.

Maybe return it and try and go for a bundle off amazon like Mario Odyssey one (not game with console but the genuine bundle)

I bought one only a week ago and they a pretty old bundle so hopefully be a low serial? Mine was on firmware 3.0.0

You can do 2 through 120 but quit bothering the whole internet about it....

Step 2: See his username EVERYWHERE

That's pretty much it...

It started with him saying he "read every sticky" but still had NO CLUE about Switch hacking at all and wanted a tutor to visit him 4 times a week to hold his hand and program stuff for him... well close to that anyway. That was before he even got the Switch he RECENTLY ordered to see if the serial would be a problem.

Then followed approx 5000 posts on every inch of Reddit about whether it can be hacked, whether a hack is coming, whether he should upgrade or take it on a romantic date.
