Deathpisaro, which originally is desupisaro according to romanji is the final boss of Dragon Quest 4
For some reason I don't like the sound of pisaro (as well as the spelling) so I changed it a little bit to fisaro, this sounds more elegant (lol)
It was called Pizzaro in Dragon Warrior Monsters US version I have no clue why, perhaps make it look more like pizza?

But this guy is so unpopular you can so easily get deathpisaro or desupisaro account in big international sites
The only time I get a name conflict is when joining a DQ fansite.
And because I even changed one alphabet I never had an username conflict.

I don't know why I suddenly wanted to say this. Maybe it ringed a bell while I was surfing Japanese web for DQ9 stuff. I thought DQMJ was a killer, this will kill even more XD

Where did your username come from?

I used to have a crazy penchant for desserts, namely the chocolate truffle torte. Perhaps now I should more aptly call myself baked beans

Cousin had computer alias as gangstabob. I stole it and he called me a thief, so I changed it to Ghettobob which is 1000x better.

kind of had an affiliation with a IRC channel called silverstream whose members had their names added with ORiON and all letters except "i" are to be written in caps. mine was once GiO_ORiON. but i dont know what happened to that group for years nor cant i remember what are they all about. and so I shortened my named to ORiON and added it with underscores because someone already has orion registered here in gbatemp.

It's just a unique misspelling of Raider that incorporates my name so as to avoid having a bunch of numbers at the end of my screename. No deep meaning.

I was known as X-Ray in the C64 days.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
