Hacking Whats the Meta for in loadiine games?

Like the title says. Im a bit confused about them. Some games have them, some dont have them. Furthermore ive got an addionally folder named "update v16-code-meta"?
Does it contain game patches? Could anyone explain this to me?

The meta folder contains some boot/game information, as well as the logos, backgrounds, and startup files for the wii u game.

the update v16 is exactly what it says, it is update v16 for that game. just replace the files in the game with the update files. Probably star fox or something from the sounds of it?

caught. but its not the only folder with the exect same name.
