Hardware What's the best speakers for a computer?

come on guys (the one post above mine), the op is looking for something inexpensive. he probably don't want to drop a Benjamin on some speakers.

I use an old stereo I had laying around that used to be connected to my tv, 5.1 surround with a sub.

I got a pair of Creative Gigaworks T20's and have been more than happy with them. The sound quality is good with almost all music genres but you need to turn the bass and volume up to get the best out of them :D.

Logitech's X-140's seem to be pretty good for less than $30. Or the Z200's for less than 5$ more.

Go looking around good will or salvation army or any thrift store and I can can guarantee that you'll be able to get a receiver and speakers for under 30 bucks and they will sound better than most desktop speakers.
