Yea, just put the nro in your Switch folder, plug in USB, open the app like other homebrew and your PC should find the switch. nx-mtp lets you see User and System sections too. Don't mess with those. Only modify files in SdCard.

Also note the switch can still go to sleep while nx-mtp is open, so if you are moving larger files, touch the switch screen every once in a while to prevent sleep mode.

Lol I know what you mean, it's taken a lot of research and reading to figure out all the homebrew. Much more reading than the 3ds days. Glad to help!

Yay!

I don't know what lithium is, so I can't help with that.

AFAIK, sigpatches only need updating when Atmosphere gets updated, or if there is a big change in OFW. So before doing an update, check around the forums to see if new sigpatches are needed.

ok will do and lithium is a "Lightweight Nintendo Switch Title Installer", here's the link encase your interested: https://github.com/blawar/lithium
Ohh, so it's basically tinfoil. If by channels you mean other internet sources(?), I know of a few. HBG (no first party games), Party Shop (only first party), and JITS (All games). You should be able to find them with a quick internet search. I'd suggest just using Jits and maybe HBG in case Jits is behind on uploads.

Make sure you used incognito or the exosphere edit (I used this edit) to remove your serial number before going online!

Ah, you can try nro2nsp to create a 'forwarder'. It'll basically make an nsp that redirects to the nro.

No clue about NDownloader, but 'Freeshop' is the HBG/JITS stuff I mentioned. You just add the https source to tinfoil (or lithium, there is a section about it in the link you posted, under "Adding Network Locations) and it'll let you download/install directly to your switch. Look online for JITS and you'll find the address you need.

Edit: lol just now realized what you meant by channels. Like the "channels" on the wii homepage!

question, do you know what this message means?

"could not find cmnt"

We got that message trying to install the outworlds game. I assumed it meant who ever ripped the game ripped it wrong and a file was missing from it. I did a little research and some people where saying something about checking the Nintendo Switches clock that it would fix that problem. Any help as always would be fantastic, everything else seems to be installing fine, except FF8 lol.
