It's where the cIOS installers store files downloaded from Nintendo

Edit:

00000001 is the title of the System Menu. Its probably there from some downgrade/upgrade or something.

00000001 00000002 is the title of the Sytem Menu. I think all sytem titles (sysmenu, IOSs, shop channel etc.) start 00000001

Edit the second:

Nope I was wrong, system channels are under 00010002

Should it be there or can it be erased?

Just wondering about it...

Please let me know.

Thanks.

In this folder, normally subfolders exist (mine is: SD://00000001/00000024/v1042).
Which means, IOS36-64-v1042.wad has been downloaded from NUS.
This is usally done by many updaters (e.g. Waninkokos one)

The answer is: YES, you can delete the folder (and it's contents) savely. Its content will be redownloaded from NUS, when necessary.

Fast answers as ever!

Thanks,

Somehow I´ve got the feeling that USB Loader GX is acting weird since this folder appears to be on my SD Card.

00000001 contains the essential Wii titles:
00000001/00000001 = Boot2
00000001/00000002 = IOS2 = System menu
00000001/00000100 = BC (Used for GC games)
00000001/00000101 = MIOS
and all IOS

But they are already on the Wii nand, so you can delete them of SD card if you want

Maybe you installed some CIOS or IOS that "has produced" the folder on your SD.
Make sure your GX is at latest version...

This folder 00000001 (and th e subsequent) are used by:
- dop-ios, cIOS installer (Mplayer / Hermes) in offline mod

/IOS/ is used by the offline mod of ARC

I keep those folder (unpaked IOS) cause i don't have wifi and when I softmod other Wii it's more convenient
