Gaming What's on a psp 3000 label? How come there's no LETTER?

I went to target to check out psp 3000(piano black, american version) today but I found nothing but a serial number on the label. How do I tell if the firmware system is under 5.03?

though i have never touched a psp3000 in my life, i believe you would probably be able to tell by the fact that its a ratchet and clank pack.

the surest way to tell if its under 5.03 is to open 'er up and turn it on.

You cant see it anywhere but im almost 100% sure every ratchet bundle includes 5.03fw or lower

rikuumi, are you 100% sure? cuz i dont wanna waste 199.99 dollars and find out that the firmware version is over 5.03. btw i think there are two kinds of ratchet bunble, one has a silver psp in it, the other one has black. are both of em 5.03?
