Hacking Whats latest, safest FW for Acekard 2i and how update please?

Hi please bear with me, this is my sons, and I dont mess with it much. Currently it has an Acekard 2i in, with v1.7.1 in, Lego Star wars III (the newest one), wont load. Can someone tell me the latest FW version to get and how to update it please.

The DSi XL isnt connected to the internet, can I add it to the SD card on the card?

Yes, you add it to the SD.

If you mean the system software (to play new games), use AKAIO 1.8.6a.

The latest firmware most people are using on AK2i is Akaio 1.8.6a. LSW 3 works fine on my sons dsi with this, just put the game on with your other games, will work fine with Akaio

great thanks, where do I put it on the SD card please. I havent updated for ages and ages, probably why some games dont work

**update** copied over the files from the rar, onto SD card, LSW 3 works...
