They might be games that you've played for 5 games and decided "I like that!", but have never gone back to it for whatever reason.

What games have you decided, nay sworn, that you'll go back and finish?

    Hotel Dusk

    EBA final few songs

    Chocobo Tales

Glory Days 2 - Gave up because I couldn't do that penultimate level. [IMG]

Advance Wars DS - Got a good few levels in, then I got a flashcart. The original cart is sitting gathering dust at my parents' house. :'(

There are over 20 games I want to play on the DS, I refuse to complete them on my flash cart. And the odd one or two that I own ATM.
I have to complete most of my 360 and Wii games, I started to make a dent in my games back cat over the summer, but somethings got pushed aside.

Why don't you guys finish Chocobotales ? It's worth it ^^.

Aynway, I just finished FFCC (even thought I was gonna give up, cause of that last puzzle, but I got it luckily).

Games that I started but never finished fully:

    - Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney (last case, but no motivation to finish it )
    - Final Fantasy III (Just too boring for me...)
    - Dragon Quest Rocket Slime (started it but soon got bored)
    - Super Mario 64 DS (got to the 2nd Bowser, but... lost motivation)
    - Rayman DS (got to the Waterlevel, but always run out of air)
    - Heroes of Mana (fun first, but soon got too hard, desert level I guess)
    - Children of Mana (last world, but I played it with my friends always, don't want to play alone right now)
    - New Supermario Bros. (Yeah, I should kick myself for this one, I got until the castle in world 6, but I don't feel like completing the last 2~3 castles right now...)
    - Nintendo DS Browser:Opera (Hard to finish with all these new websites appearing all over the web all the time you know ? )
    - Ridge Racer DS (fun lil Game, especially with the touch control turned on, but I can't win the last few races)
    - Simple DS Series 21 (Cool Bros in Arms Stiled Shooter, got until level too. NOTE to SELF: to throw Grenades hold R and then press the A button)
    - Sonic Rush (got until act 5, but the last boss in here always kicks me)
    - EBA (the aliens came, saw and kicked my butt [IMG] .... maybe finish it someday)

These are only the games I can remember right now... if I remember my N64 games then there is a Zelda the Ocarina of time waiting for me [IMG].

Big-N should really port it to the DS, so I could finish it on the go !

EDIT: Oh... rambozotheclown... yeah, Trauma Center is another game I started and never finished

All the mexican food I've been eating all week?

Seriously though the list I know isn't pretty, but with a wedding pending shortly, 40hour/wk job, horse ownership, doing things around 'her' when shes about and so on cuts into stuff. But primarily my problem is two-fold, desire but failing to get up motivation, and ever since I used to work in production/test with a gaming company I got disgustingly picky over bad gameplay issues/bugs. Due to that giant mix I find it hard to ever finish a game start to finish anymore, some I'll do off and on, and others I just get to dick around with and not intend to knock off.

Since this is a DS thread here's what I can toss into the incomplete pile:
-Elite Beat Agents (last stage is a bitch part 2 of it anyways)
-Final Fantasy III (about 2/3 done or so)
-Metroid Prime Hunters (opened all worlds, didn't do the backtrack revisits)
-New Super Mario Bros (save system is a huge demotivator)
-Super Mario 64 DS (bought for fun, finished on N64)
-True Swing Golf (never unlocked the final complete pro circuit)

FF3 just gets consuming and challenging so it's a time issue, EBA just I can't seem to draw right but as a button mash I'd squash it easy. MPH it's a time thing plus the linearity+backtrack is a snore. NewSMB is depressing really as you can't do 2 worlds unless you do the lame 2nd exit as mini mario only which is horseshit + the buy a save or only when you hit a milestone is horrid for a portable (time issue+bad design.) Already explained Mario64, and TSG just is one I pick up and do here n' there as it's a sport. I have more DS games 22 (techincally 23 with Sonic on a real Nintendo DS flash kit rom...hate the game won't finish it.) All the others I've finished, are just hi score deals(like wario ware), or are a racing/sport deal you really can't persay finish.

My Wii I have 9 games. 3 of them I haven't finished (1 I won't bother - Zelda due to horrid save system and being very bloated and slow.) Things like Wii Play/Sports and technically Metal Slug have no finish as it's score based. Others I'm working on (MP3) or I'm lazy but doign very very slowly (Paper Mario and Godfather.)

    - Advance Wars
    - Mega Man ZX series
    - Yoshi's Island 2
    - Picross
    - Hotel Dusk
    - Super Mario 64 DS
    - New Super Mario Bros
    - Yoshi's Island DS

I try to finish every game that I start playing... I don't like to take the daunting task of mastering more than one game at a time... Unlocking EVERYTHING in the game, is a completely different story though.

:Games that I need to finish:
    MS Saga (Ps2)
    Front Mission 4 (Ps2)
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles (Ps2, god I hate that game)
    Tales of the Abyss (Ps2)
    Rogue Galaxy (Ps2)
Valkyrie Profile 2 (Ps2, right at the end of it!!)
    Pokemon Diamond (DS)
    .hack//G.U. Vol.2//Reminisce (Ps2)

    :Games that need 100%+ completion:
    Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, and Budokai 3 (Ps2)
    Kingdom Hearts 2 (Ps2)
    Digimon World DS (DS)
    Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (DS)
    Guitar Hero 2 (Ps2)
    .hack//G.u. Vol.1//Rebirth (Ps2)
    God of War 2 (Ps2)

Humm... I think that's about it.

^ Yeah, me too! I hate not finishing what I start, even if it is kinda crap (so long as it's short, of course!) Lately, though, what with school work and all, lots of semi-played DS games have gone by, but all of them are unworthy of my attention anyways.

Stuff that I DO want to finish sometime before I enter the realm of HD for real and give up on them completely are:

    - Tomb Raider Legend
    - Okami
    - Shadow Hearts Covenant
    - Pikmin
    - Rogue Squadron II
    - Tales of Eternia

Probably more, but those ones for sure.

Heroes of Mana, I actually liked it but only gone through a few levels.
Worms: Open Warfare 2, done all of the puzzles and that were available but theres loads more to buy.
Phoenix Wright 3, not started yet.
    Hotel Dusk, needs finishing

Thats about it on the DS front, but theres loads of 360 games to finish, especially Bioshock for some reason it hasn't gripped me but I'm sure that it will the more I play it.

Well, I completed PW 1 and 2, they were awesome games, playing 1st case of 3 now, and focusing on that and Megaman SF until another good game gets released (like TLZ:PH, and DON'T say Rune Factory, I don't like that nor Luminous Arc).

Glory Days 2 was a disappointment for me, but I didn't expect much to come out of it anyway.

Waiting for Lifesigns, seems a great game, possibly better than Trauma.

i have to say this is one of the cons of getting flash carts

you have so many games that whenever you see a new one you play it, and since there are so many games you never really complete one full game

Just counting titles I've made a decent start on and aren't playing atm:
    Kirby Canvas Curse
    Densetsu no Stafi 4
Trauma Centre (I play DS just before bed and the aneurisms level is too hard when sleepy.)

I'm halfway through lots of stuff on GBA. I've only got one level left to do of Denki Blocks, been stuck there for 2 years but I will solve it damnit! I've started taking my GBA to work so have recently picked up Shaman King - Master of Spirits and Guru Logic Champ again. And I've got all the PS2 Final Fantasy titles on my shelf to play through (except 11) and Devil May Cry.

My "to play on DS" list is a lot longer but I'm not going to type it all up. Except Portrait of Ruin, I'll get that when it dips below £20.

Actually... It is my backlog [IMG] . I know what a backlog is, a list of games you have laying about you have yet to play, but really want to get around to. Seeing as my favourite genre is RPG and I missed quite a lot of classics, I'll be busy for a MAD long time. It's just that... that ... I'm addicted to my laptop =D. I only play games when someone comes over really. I'm glad I can't be on my laptop during the week when college starts kicking in again, so I can play games every day [IMG]. And yea, I am a gamer! Been gaming for I dunno, since I was like 10 or so, gaming every day all day long back when I was still in high school, like 5 PM - 11 PM then going to bed and playing 2-3 more hours on my handhelds. Too bad internet is so addicting if you are on all these forums and doing a lot of stuff on the internet :/ (kinda got a job going @ internet).
