Hacking Whats better, 50 576i or 480i

Hi there,

My Pal Wii lets me choose 50hz 576i or 60hz 480i and i was just wondering which one was better as my TV supports both...

Also wht is VIDTV Patch, ive tried looking and cant relaly find anyting useful on it?

60hz is better than 50hz.

480i is the best resolution out of them

576i has deeper resolution (576 lines instead of 480) but also somehow warmer colors when using the default cable (in my opinion)

but the screen refresh rate is only 50hz which can be quite noticeable, compared to 480i (60hz)

"50Hz 576i" is 50 fields per second and 720x576 resolution.
"60Hz 480i" is 60 fields per second and 720x480 resolution. Yes, this on is the best. A bit lower resolution than 50Hz, but more frames per second.
"VIDTV" is a patch for games which use Shift-JIS encoding for japanese text. You need to enable it for them, otherwise you'll just see garbage instead of japanese.
