What's a quick and dirty way to record a streaming college bball game?

I have a link to a streaming college basketball game and I want to record it. Any ideas? PC windows 10

What do you mean by dirty? Go outside, get some mud, put in your screen Use your phone camera, very dirty recording sucessfull

You can use any software like Camtasia to record your screen
Some software let's you grab the stream video directly but the simplest and more universal way and to be sure to work is a screen recorder

Just leaving this out here since I assume a lot of people have it, it's free, can record and everything, OBS works fine and has a really nice and small size output without any loss in quality, so you won't have to worry about running out of space mid-recording.

Good to hear. Basically the only trouble you can have with OBS is setting it up at the start (choosing which windows to capture). After that, it's all set, plus it can keep profiles if you want to record different things!

Yup +1 for OBS. It's chock full of features for both streaming AND local recording. Things like Fraps, Bandicam, and so on are hardly needed anymore IMO.

Well, you can always try Mirillis Action!, It literally needs just one click to start recording. However, it's paid.

Get a HDhomerun device and somthing like WMC NextPVR or VLC

Its easy and not really hard

That requires an existing cable subscription/digital capable antenna, which honestly isn't better for this scenario. OP is already streaming an online source for free assumingly.
