Link to the Past, Link's Awakening and the Oracles. Great fucking games.

Also, I wouldn't recommend it, but as it is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine I must mention Spirit Tracks, I just like it for some reason, perhaps I like the map music too much, no idea.

Zelda 2 is great, just very different, both in play style and difficulty. It leans more to "nintendo hard" but not as bad as some games that get that label. It looks and sounds great for an NES game though, and is well worth playing through at least once. If it's too hard, get a game genie.

LTTP. Obviously. That way u played (beat?) the 3 best games in teh series, along w/ MM & BOTW. If ur tempted by NES games, then just play Shovel Knight; that way u played (beat?) 2 best games of this gen.

The translated Stellaview LOZ is pretty interesting. Four Swords is good if you've got some people willing to plunk down an hour, in which case, you should convince them to play Triforce Heroes when they start humming, 'Sea of Trees, bumm-bhum, dum-bum-bhum.'

Honestly, Breathe of the Wild, then go back and play anyothers you may have missed. This game is beautiful <3, even on the Wii U, its a masterpiece considering the limited hardware being used. Nintendo really pushed the U's hardware to its limits with this game. Not to mention, so far the story is really good :)

Oracle games, Link's Awakening, Link to the Past, and Zelda II

Zelda II gets a bad rap from time to time, but it's an earlier game in the series entries that added additional elements and gameplay mechanics. It really is not a bad game if you can get into it. I have been a Zelda fan since 92.
