While that'd be neat, it's not likely to happen, since the 3DS OS isn't up and running when A9LH is. Probably the closest you could get to that might be loading a modified NATIVE_FIRM into memory, which loads the HB Launcher CIA instead of the Home Menu. Might be fun to play around with..

edit: Another possibility might be overwriting the Home Menu with the HB launcher CIA, then there'd be no menuhax or low boot rates involved.

1. A way to boot the 3ds without an SD card (might be possible by installing a CIA containing the payload to NAND, and have FRIM0/1 load that as backup?)

Although I don't have arm9loaderhax(just bricked myself trying to do it) I would like to have homebrew launcher access through a9lh and we can't forget a good ol' passcode page.

I'd like a plugin system similar to the PSP's so that we can have kernel extensions and whatnot.

Would be cool if it had a customizable menu with a clock and date display. Kinda have the original DS menu in mind.

I was scared to do the jump from 10.3 to 9.2, now all the way to 2.1 and on a 2DS, not gonna happen.

that will be impossible its even worse for n3ds users since there is no official 2.1 fw for it
