Someone came into my room well I was sleeping and deleted my Castlevania Dawn Of Sorrows save. I don't really know who it was, but I thought at first it was a flash card error so I went through all my games and none of them were touched, then I realised shortly after that someone had moved my DS from my keyboard to the top of my computer...as well took it off charge.
Yes I know it's strange I noticed that my save was gone before I noticed my DS was moved. But this happened at 6 in the morning this morning and I am not very observant in the morning.
So now I really want to know how other people would react to something like this.
EDIT: I do have an older brother and an younger sister.

I normally back up my SAV files about once a month. I do that, mainly because a LOT of things can happen. Also, because I'm an OCD freak like that. [IMG]

I did back them up, then out of the blue my linux stopped working and I hard to reformat it.
So I had back up, but they are now gone and I forgot to back them up.

I'm sorry for you. But sometimes, playing through a game again can be a lot of fun!

True, though I did finally get to the part where I can turn into the bat and I am pissed that I have to go through THE WHOLE game again just to do that.
Yes I know I can cheat, but I prefer playing games through before I cheat.

I would find another save on the internet that's pretty much where I left off.

I'd attempt to recover the deleted file using a recovery program on my pc. That's if I didn't write anything else to my micro sd card in the mean time.

They didn't get rid of the sav file, they deleted the saved game.
Edit: Like turned on my DS, went into my card, picked that game, went on it, and hit erase save.

Never will happen because I wouldn't leave my vital equipment unattended and I lock my room after I leave when I have anyone but family over.

It'd still be possible to recover it, if nothing else has written to that portion of the micro sd card. Of course it wouldn't be 100% success rate in recovery.

I tried using the recovery program I have now and it got nothing, so I am just going to start over again some other time

I'd find the person who did it and fight them (since it would probably be one of my brothers). Then I'd restart my game angrily.

Really I think it was my brother, since I have it in my M3 Lite (every time I put it in M3 Real it seems to glitch out really badly) and he is the only one who knows anything about Flashme other than me

Nothing to be pissed off about , how do you think I felt when my younger brother's girlfriend deleted my save file of Sonic Riders on the Gamecube with everything on it to secret missions at Gold to buying all the gears. I did got upset but nothing to be pissed about.

I usually delete my save files by accident and usually regret them. It doesn't hurt to play the game once more.

I am really just pissed because I finally got to turn into a bat and I freaking love to be the bat in that game. Then someone comes and deletes it. But I do tend to accidently delete my saves on my M3 Real all the time, since I often mange that card with DSOrganiser.
That's how I lost my Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor save and my Scribblenauts save files.
