Hacking What would happened if i update the wii with homebrew installed

Topic.
Basically Christmas is next month, so my mom is buying my brothers some wii games so they can
play, what would happened if the newest version on the disks were installed on to the wii?

4.2 is not on any disks yet. 4.1 at the moment is the best to be on.

No disc has anything higher than 3.4 last I checked.

And FYI, you can run new games through GeckoOS and it'll install whatever IOS a game requires without pushing the full update. Once you've done that you can launch the game in the disc channel like always.

Preloader and use Gecko OS first. Just make sure a disc doesn't have a stub....
