Hacking What would happen if I were to replace the retail vita 3.60 fw with a debug fw?

Is it possible to do this on a retail vita? And does anyone know what the consequences would be? if any?


Edit: I only have a retail psvita 2000 (slim), not a debug vita.

It wouldn't work. Not without heavy modifications anyway...
And even then, the Vita would probably brick due to the lack of extra hardware that the software would try to find on bootup.

Yifan Lu explained exactly this on Reddit I think it was.
