Hardware What would be a realistic and reasonable cost of a banned switch?

Hello,
So in short, i already own a switch, not banned and not modded
Id like to know the value of a banned switch
Only the tablet, no joycon, no joygrip, no dock, etc
I ask for a banned switch to get one to mod at a reduced cost...
Ill check on ebay, but i dont want to be scammed and pay too much

You aren't going to save much getting a banned unit, in fact I have seen banned units get more clicks, traffic, and higher auction price because people know that they are vulnerable and unpatched.

You can find places where you can get just the tablet part online but it's a roll if it's exploitable or not yet. You can sometimes ask the retailer for the serial number, but it's cheaper for sure and possibly older stock than most switches you'd find around

I bought an exploitable, un-banned Switch from ebay for $200. Had everything- including the box. The only defect was a crack in the back shell, which I replaced anyway.

switch tablets run $160 to $170 nowdays even it is not banned.
I have seen unbanned switch tablets go for $170 too.

$400USD for a banned switch WITHOUT the accessories? I'm not willing to pay for that.
$200USD is the right spot. Facebook Marketplace in my area in Toronto shows a bunch of people selling their complete box banned/brand new unpatched Switches for $300USD.

Last time I checked Ebay, the usual price for banned switch (without accessories) was ca. 240$. I think that its not that much, considering that it is hard to get one right now.
