Hacking What works best with custom firmware?

I already have a new 3ds xl, but im planning to get a 3ds xl or 2ds.(prolly 2d since cheaper and I don't use the 3d much and no game really requires it). I just wanted to know does which works best with custom firmware or does it not really matter?

It doesnt matter, any system will work the same as long as it is exploitable.

if i get a 2ds then will i have to go use the browser/website(read a bit but not entirely sure what im talking about) to turn it into custom firmware mode? or can i do it without going online?

i was just.under the impression one of them was smoother/processor was better. one wont lag. guess that matters with only the new 3ds?

No CFW will lag, games will run all smoothly.

Yes, you will be using the web browser to set up your CFW, 9.0 - 9.2 firmwarrs can use CFW without an internet conection through Themehax/Menuhax, if you are below 9.0 you can manually update to 9.2 to be able to use this offline entrypoiny.
