I have o3dsxl on 9.2 sysnand with 10.7 emunand a9lh + gw. I want to restore a pre-a9lh nand back up on my sysnand,
What will happen if i do that?

Than you will have a 3ds without al9.

If you choose the "keep a9lh" option in decrypt9 then you won't lose your a9lh. Otherwise you'll lose a9lh.

I'm not sure, I think if you downgrade with sysupdater I think it won't brick, I don't know about downgrading using a NAND.bin 4.5 :/ maybe only the experts here can help you.

It will be safe. All the changes made by a9lh will be removed by the restore as long as you disable the a9lh protection

Out of curiosity, what's the point of restoring to 4.5? I can't imagine there's anything you'd need the MSET exploit for when you have a9lh

If he wants to use his Gateway, he should create an emuNAND, downgrade it to 9.2, install the gateway cia on it, then when he wants to boot gateway mode, launch the emuNAND, open the cia, hold B over boot gateway mode in the menu, and choose to boot gateway in sysNAND mode

If you ever restore your pre-arm9lh without its corresponding SD backup what would happen to your saves/data that you created while using arm9lh? Could you lose new friendlist/spotpass/streetpass data? Are cia game saves still present? Or do you essentially lose all new data regardless of sd backup?

A friend of mine heard of some people apparently bricking their device while setting up what I did. Like that nintendo can brick your console when you even try to do that. Like nintendo has remote access to your console and will ban it locally. I don't know how much of it is true but most bricks are due to user error and absolutely not nintendo itself.

It's awfully convenient how nobody that's said "a9lh wil brik ur 3ds1!11" has been able to back up their claims..
