I personally wish that there was some sort of online play in the US (In Japan for a while, they had online Mario Kart and F-Zero via a DoCoMo cell phone link), that the F-Zero: Maximum Velocity ranking codes actually did something, and that I had the skills to make an EZ-Flash IV kernel.

I also kinda wish the GBA had some kind of built in firmware. (I dunno why, I just like silly things like that...)

ya i wished a lot of things on the GBA days. 1 thing was that if this thing could ever have online play just like you. I wanted the pokemon games to have similar online events like that of pokemon crystal in japan with the cell phone adapter. Also I wished that the flash carts had as many features as they had today with in game menus slow motion and all that good stuff.

j/k, GBA was one of the greatest handhelds ever because of all it's great RPGs and clean-looking 2D games (ea: FF Tactics).

I couldn't have asked for more!

Afterburner installation, overclock mod, SNES Controller linkup, and RCA video output mod.

I have a TV-Out adapter for a GBA (I'm currently trying to make it into a console) it's decent, but the scaling mode looks bad, and the unscaled image is small. I hope the RGB lines on the board will allow me to get a clean picture.

I wish the overclock mod was taken advantage of in an emulator. I can see Neo Geo Pocket Color running rather well on an overclocked GBA...

A Force Feedback Cod Piece. >.>

Just kidding. Zero Punctuation Reference, sorry. In all seriousness, a Super Mario RPG port would have been nice.

I aways wanted a ZX Spectrum 128k EMULATOR, and while it partially became true with the excellent ZX Advance by TheHive, it still had problems regarding injecting games and screen scaling, and no 128K model emulation.
I had to wait eventually for the DS in order to get a great 128K emulator ( ZXDS by Patric Rack ).
TheHive also was getting there but stopped the development way too soon.
Either way, I'm happy now, couldm't ask for more....

I just want good game play and maybe online interaction?

I first got my GBA SP on 2004. Trust me, I got very excited about my GBA cos it is my first video game console, and I really miss those day where there is only GBA and no Sony PSP, cos everyone will have a similar portable game console. With similar game consoles, I would usually ask my friends to meet up somewhere during holidays and we will be sharing some of our gba games, trading Pokemon with our Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald (2005 though). So I think with the online interaction, we don't have to meet up, as we could do our trading at home. Too bad those day don't have this technology, but I really miss those days where we had fun and laughter when we share games and compete each other with the Pokemon Battle Colosseum ...

Have to agree with ya there frantier, those days were alot more fun in alot of ways, and though today's games are great aswell, the really immersing games are a dying breed..

But i think that will be fixed in the coming 10-20 years, it's very exciting thinking about all the progress that will have been made by then!

I always wanted:
1. A good RCA video out device and -
2. A flash card as good as R4, DSTT or EDGE, with cheats (like Narin's).
But I like VisualBoyAdvance even better than 1. + 2.!
I still dream of having VBA for NDS someday - with "Memory Viewer" and "Search for Cheats"!
and I wish all the great RPG's for GB, GBC and GBA would be ported to DS.
I am happy with my EDGE for NDS, VBA for GB, GBC and GBA and ZSNESW for SNES games. Life is good!

There was/is porn for GBA, but not nearly as good as DPG and Comic Book DS.
