@op: did u try out my suggestion?!?
yes, turns out the virus deleted all the registry files (EVERYTHING) under the hkey/localmachine/software/microsoft , yep it deleted the whole microsoft folder, but i used a program that restores the values and puts back on the registry data. Forgot what its called but again, norton detects a downloader, its always under localmachine/Microsoft/windows run svchost.exe or something like that. SVCHOST.exe always is a virus, but it keeps detecting, that virus is somewhere!

Anyway, more ontopic: I used to have this problem a lot, but I got them from warez site. Watch out for them as well. Also, you might want to switch to another browser. Since I use Firefox, I haven't had any virusses on my computer.

Using a backup program is also really handy. It requires some work and can be hard to set up, but it makes restoring your computer a snap. I recommend Acronis True Image. It can automatically backup Windows every time you turn your computer off, and you can always go back in time to any moment.

As for how you can restore your computer, I don't know. Good luck with it.
