DPG and only DPG. Use BatchDPG to convert vids to that format and run them through Moonshell. You can also use DPGtools or a program called "SUPER Video Converter" (all free programs) to do the same thing.

That's for Moonshell. There are other media players that use other formats, Like DSMPlay.

Avoid DSMPlay. The videos get extremely large. 10 minute vid becomes about 600mb.

Moonshell is the only good video player for the DS if you want a good combination of filesize, quality and options.

Moonshell, definitely. I heard there is another program that plays .mp4's, but with no sound. Not only that, but .mp4's are HUEG LIEK XBOX.

Use SUPER, pm me if you need a link. I'm very satisfied with that video converter. Personally, I haven't tested it against BatchDPG but it's ease-of-use just eliminates all competition.
