I have a M3DS Real that I bought in Japan back in 2008. It's running Sakura and has a good amount of games on it. It's been in my gf's DS ever since I came back and I haven't really maintained it or kept the firmware up to date.

I've recently got back into the flashcart scene and wanted to update this to the BEST firmware possible (do a complete reformat). I'm not sure about which would be best as this was bought from Japan (asian model) and was hoping the community could advise.

    Thanks again in advance.

YSM3 is the best for compatibly, but I have no idea if it works on the Japanese card.

Thank Cat Boy. That post helps a lot. From that, I gather the latest firmware is 6.61? From that list, what would you recommend?

I suggest going with WoodYS, it has most of the features of Wood and the compatibly of the latest ysmenu.
