Hacking What to do with a 8.xx 3dsxl?

I have an extra 3ds, an xl, thats on firmware 8.xx. It has pasta cfw through a ninjahax expolite, but is dependant on the real ninja cart, to run hbrew. I haven't kept up with the scence for a few months know, is there a more efficent (I assume there is) hb method I could use?

In your situation if it was me I would backup all my saves using savedatafiler backing them up on PC then starting fresh with rxTools then reinstall the stuff you had and re import your saves.

Is the orignal Rxtools now allow HB etc, or do I still need to find a unoffical version?

And my assumption is, pasta is now competly obsolete?

If there is a homebrew app that does not have a CIA version (I highly doubt it) you can install the HBL CIA and use that and yes Pasta is obsolete now .

The tutorial will have you update to 9.2.0-20 using Sysupdater this way you can cold boot rxTools so don't worry about it.

You won't need MSET since everything will run from homemenuhax on boot. You have a copy of Cubic Ninja which makes things much easier for you.

No it would simply boot into Emunand i'm sure you can hold a button to boot Sysnand or the rxTools Menu your Sysnand will be untouched (besides the whole updating to 9.2.0-20 bit). Yeah read the Launching rxTools at boot - Menuhax! bit in the tutorial you can configure how it boots.
