I'm actually trying to get to know my Supercard DSOnei a little bit better, as I haven't used it much since I got it up until now.

I have it equiped with a Class 4 8GB PNY MicroSD, I have to admit PNY is an awesome brand.

I want games to run a bit faster.

What setting should I set it to on the Card read speed in the EOS Menu.

I'd ignore the brand, and run a speed test on it like HDtach etc. PNY don't make their own cards, so it's useless comparing it to someone elses.

Is it C08G? Japan or Taiwan?

It's Japan, as for the C08G, part of it has rubbed off, so I cant really tell.

It probably is a C08G Japan, if so use the same settings as people use for the Kingston 8G Japan cards.

As long as your PC and card reader are decent, you should be getting read speeds of 20MB/s. For MicroSD cards, the maximum is normally 25MB/s.

There's a forum with loads of speed tests for them http://www.metagames-eu.com/forums/linkers...e-40-99704.html

Yeah, I just ran a speed test..I'm actually getting better read speeds than 20MB/s

I'm actually getting close to 25MB/s.

I'm gonna set it to 4 for now.
