No, the Wii branding clearly had a large negative effect on Wii U sales. Not only did new uneducated consumers think it wasn't a new console, many just dismissed it from the get go due to the Wii's massively inferior specs to the competition of the time. The Wii name shouldn't have carried over to the Wii U and definitely shouldn't continue onto the next system.

Nintendo should buy them, all the news about the Okama GameSphere disappeared as quickly as it came. All I can really recall about the system is that they encouraged you to bring a towel in case your bout of gaming got too intense.

The Color TV machines weren't what we would call a console by today's standards. First of all they were dedicated video games, meaning they weren't designed to play any games except the ones in their "internal memory". As far as I know they didn't even use a CPU, they are more of an electronic device than a computer.

father and kid, young nerd, some hipster cool people(hate them), some tomodachi/animal crossing fan girls, and some other kind of possible customers entering a shop and asking a "nes".
Then the salesman look at them mumbling as they asking the old nes but they point the new console and sayd "THIS nes" , full glory view of the new console and starting reel of games...
then final view old nes and new nes togheter with slogan "30 years of pure gaming", then Reggie popping "...and more kicking ass"
