Hacking What modchip I have?

Hi,
My friend got a modded NTSC/UC Wii, How can we determine what Modchip is installed? obvioisly without opening it since we dont have tri-wire-screw driver.
and how we cant say which firmware it has?
does meteroid's update will ruin anything or its just for J regions?

Aha, found the Wii over there. Ok, now I'll flip the X-Ray lens filter on and take a look. Hmm, I'd say you have a Wiikey clone by the looks of it.

awesome, thats really descriptive :-( obviously, ask the person who installed it is ur safest bet, and i'm guessing a wiikey, or a cyclowiz
