I've been wondering whats keeping the 3000 from being hacked to play games? Besides that it will brick when you try.
Is it something like the common key thing on the DSi?

Does anyone know if anyone is working on this? I was just given a PSP3000 and really don't want to sell it.

It's the Pre-IPL.
Basically, the PSP-1000/2000 have had their Pre-IPL cracked, whereas the 3000 has a differet one that hasn't been dumped yet.

The motherboard keeps it from being (fully) hacked. it can only be semi hacked at the moment. if you try to fully hack it,it will brick, obviously. It's also the Pre-IPL thing that beegee said.
