Power Metal, various incarnations of Jazz (ragtime, swing, bebop, Latin fusion, etc.), Romantic-era Classical, classic rock... you know, the good stuff. I'm rather fond when those genres mix, too.
Progressive rock, post-punk new wave, 70s and 80s electronic and ambient, British folk/psych folk from the 70s are the four most common in my library. I rarely listen to anything past 1991 but I do have a few modern favorites.
I like heavy metal(mainly Slipknot) and chiptune(video game OST's/chiptunes itself), although liking some pop(Linkin Park/Imagine Dragons) and rock(The Killers)
Eh, I can't casually listen to video game music just sitting on the couch. I have to be listening to Rap or Pop or Rock or something. I have to be doing something while listening to OST. Like running, homework, anything active.
I like a lot of music, except for a lot of modern ones. Like seriously WHAT THE REAL HECK IS WATCH ME WHIP, IT IS NOT A SONG IT IS A HORRIBLE DANCE THAT SHOULD NOT EXIST. Or imo panda, that song has like no effort put into it, there is literally one part where the guy sounds like he can't even rap anymore lmao
Classic electronic music like Techno-Pop, Detroit Techno, Euro Dance, Krautrock, pre 90s electronic music in general, 90s Techno House and Electro.
To name some bands/musicians: Kraftwerk, NEU!, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Karl Bartos, YMO, Juan Atkins/Model 500, Cybotron, Denki Groove, Takkyu Ishino, Ken Ishii, Roman Flügel, Underworld, Paul van Dyk, Sven Väth, Wolfgang Flür, Westbam
Hate the music nowadays. Also fucking 80's.
My favourite genres are: - Trip-Hop
- Lounge
- Nu Jazz
- Jazz
- Acid Jazz
- Bossa Nova (almost forgot about that one)
- Intrumental
- 90's pop
- 60's rock/pop
- 70's disco
- 50's Blues and Jazz
- And Videogame Music/Remixes. Specially Nintendo games.
- Oh and late 80's/early 90's hip ho.
