What kinds of emulators are there for psp?
All kinds. GBA/SNES/NES/GBC/Turbografx and many others.
The only two emulators I'm aware of that make use of the extra memory on a slim are the N64 and MAME ones.
No, the N64 one does not run most games, and yes it's laggy.
just saw this...

The Psp Has To Be Hacked In Order To Use Emu's Right?
Oh and to be that guy
Warning: Spoilers inside!
it runs psx games natively
Yes, it needs to be hacked to run emulators. Either custom firmware, or the Half-Byte Loader.
So With Half-Byte Loader I Can Play Emu's Without A Hacked Psp?
Sorry Im A Noob At Hacking Psp's.
It lets you play some emulators (not all) without having to install custom firmware, yes.
With the SNES emulator, you're much better off running it on an actual cfw if you have the option. I have only messed with HBL briefly as I have my PsP 2k hacked with 5.00 M33-6. As you're on a 1k, I would really look into going the full hacked route.
