Choice was Ubuntu, but it is only a secondary OS on my XP box... there are just to many apps and pieces of hardware that linux doesn't support yet. Things like MS Money (and no, none of the opensource ones have what i need/like) are a must have and I need on a daily basis. I have been able to get some things like zMud 7.21 working under wine almost flawlessly (and no, no other client has a mapper).

And why not move "up"(heh) to Vista... cause it is a bloated pos that has nothing i need (i def dont need all the bling, last time i tried it, that was some of the 1st things i turned off).

Thanks for clearing that up Urza. I was afraid that some people wouldn't know what that was.

I currently use Windows XP, that's all I've ever used. So for now my OS choice is Windows XP.

I don't mind using any OS, but I won't touch Vista. 7 is a slight improvement over it, but it should've been "SP2" ...

For me it would be OS X or Linux. Windows is just pure crap if it comes to stability. I had slowdowns (3-4 click and then it hangs), bluescreens, bluescreens while booting and shutting down, standby doesn't work etc etc etc

I don't know why people always complain about Vista. I've had about the same amount of problems on XP as on Vista

I think that the reason people complain about vista is because vista is a sort of rip of from windows 7, i't even supposed to be windows 7. windows vista was not complete at it's release date so they hoped to solve the problem with a service pack but it was not enough. it is stil kinda a mess.
if jou saw vista like a wall then it had more holes than bricks. (at the release date).
I think that that's the reason. but I still use xp pro and linux.
    sorry for mij bad language.

yes you are right wabsta, vista is'nt bad it's just not what it should be.
It's stable but it juses from itself in my opinion a little bit too much of the ram memory and cpu memory.
a little question. can you reset your flag because I come from holland and not from the usa.
