I am thinking about getting a new wii (mine was fucked up).

Want to get a new and closed one. I know I can easily install what I need with 4.2U and above, my real question is: is there a chance of getting a 4.3U console? I don't have neither of the games needed to do the trick, so... just wondering.

If anyone knows about it and could answer me I will be very happy.

i concur with that statement. Check a local gamestop or video game retailer and ask them if they have any used older wii models

And obviously stay away from the new colors (black and red) as they are almost guaranteed to have 4.3.

That said if you're willing to invest in a new wii, you really should invest in super smash bros. It's a good game, worth the price and because of the type of exploit it's not likely to ever be patched thus 'future proofing' your wii from accidental updates.
